Mission Statement

The Hazlet Township Police Department is committed to serve and protect all people within our jurisdiction with respect, fairness, and compassion. Our mission is to provide professional law enforcement services while working in partnership with those who we serve.

Climb with a Cop

Bring the kids and come out to support a great cause at The Gravity Vault in Middletown on February 8, 2020. Officers from Hazlet PBA Local 189 and Middletown Township PBA Local 124 are teaming up to benefit Special Olympics New Jersey with a Climb With A Cop Event. This event was a huge hit last year. Come out and give your support.

RAINE Holiday Gift Giving

Officers from the Hazlet township Police Department and many other volunteers assisted the RAINE Foundation with their annual toy delivery on December 19, 2019. We had an amazing time delivering toys to children who are less fortunate and working with this fantastic charity.

Veterans Day Hazlet Police Department “Coffee with a Cop”

On November 11, 2019, Veterans Day, the Hazlet Police Department sponsored a “Coffee with a Cop” event in partnership with McDonald’s on Rt. 35 to give citizens an opportunity to engage in conversation with their local police as well as thank a Veteran for all the sacrifices they have made to protect our rights and freedom.
