This month, Detective’s Nicolas Logothetis, Michael Tristao and Detective Lieutenant Robert Mulligan gave a presentation to approximately 200 of our Township seniors on scams that specifically target and take advantage of their demographic. Detective Logothetis covered a range of scams that are usually perpetrated by persons using the internet, phone, and door-to-door methods. He gave everyone a familiarization of what tactics are being used and advised them on what to do if they think they may be targeted.
We also had brought our Project Medicine Drop mobile drop box where numerous persons took advantage of the opportunity to get rid of their unwanted prescription medicine in a safe manner. If you did not have the opportunity to dispose of unwanted/ unneeded medication at the event, there is a drop box at police headquarters in the lobby open 24/7
