The Hazlet Township Police Department will be opening our doors to host a Special Needs Open House on Saturday, October 16th, 2021 from 11am-2pm. All too often our community members with special needs have their first, and possibly only, interaction with Police during stressful situations. This is an opportunity to bring your loved one with special needs to the police department and meet officers in a non-stressful environment. Tour our police department, check out our vehicles and equipment, and build a positive relationship between your loved one and the police.

We will also have information about local resources available to you through POAC Autism Services , Tender Touch Occupational Therapy , Speech Start, Monmouth County Sheriff’s Office Project Life Saver, and the Monmouth County Special Needs Registry.

There will also be chicken nuggets provided by Chick-fil-A Hazlet for lunch!
