As a Civil Service Municipality, the testing for Hazlet Township police officer candidates is done by the NJ Civil Service Commission (NJ CSC). The NJ CSC recently issued examination announcements for Entry Level Law Enforcement Examination (LEE) titles. The deadline for submitting applications is 2/28/2022. Residency in Hazlet, NJ is a requirement to apply for positions in Hazlet. Once applications are completed, NJCSC will send out notifications for the test date and time. After testing is completed, NJ CSC will provide Hazlet with a list of eligible candidates and we will begin the application process.
