Due to the current pandemic, the Hazlet Township Police Department has created protocol when taking non-emergent reports for service.

Residents of Hazlet Township can now fill out non-emergent online reports from the safety and comfort of their own homes.

When feasible, if non-emergent calls exist, please follow this link to our website. Hazletpd.org/report-a-crime . Here, the reporting party can complete a report with all information and submit it when completed without having to make direct physical contact with an officer. The agency will review these reports and if we have any questions or seek further details, one of our officers will contact you.

It is mandatory to include your direct call back number and a valid email address so we can contact you effectively. A few examples of non-emergent reports that can be completed online are:

-Theft under $200
-Damage to vehicle or property
-Vehicle burglary
-Harassment (Non domestic violence related)
-Fraud our identity theft.

This system is for a crime that already happened. If you witness a crime in progress or your have an emergency, please dial 911 to get immediately police response!

Thank you for your support and understanding during this pandemic.
